It’s also one of the most accessible letters to pick up when first learning to write. The sound of an L is also one of the easiest to pronounce, which makes the L an informal letter in general! While he might be easy to write and say, that doesn’t mean you can’t do great things with him. This guide will show you how this simple letter can cheer up with a fun bubble effect.

Let’s start
STEP 1:

The lowercase version is a vertical line, and the capital version adds a horizontal part below. Everything is quite simple, but we will make it more complex with this version of Bubble Letters. That said, we’ll keep it very simple for this first step. All you have to accomplish is pull a simple vertical line. It looks pretty straight in our example image, but you don’t have to worry about being perfectly straight. Instead of using a ruler, draw by hand, and don’t worry if it’s slightly wavy. We don’t want it to be straight because the idea is that it looks like a bubble. You will see in the guide why we must be like this as the design takes shape. With this line drawn, we can move on to step 2.

2ND STEP:

The line we draw in the first step of the guide will be the inside edge of the central column of the letter. Then we will draw the upper part of this part of the column. This part should be as comfortable as stage one, if not more comfortable! All you have to accomplish is yank a curved part at the top of the line. This will propagate left in an arc. If you can do the previous row in one motion, that would be ideal, but you can split it in two if you find it more accessible. Don’t worry if you must practice the motion to draw those lines because you dominate it! We can draw the other parts in the following steps with this top part of the column drawn.

STEP 3:

Again, it’s OK if your hand shakes a bit, making it wavy. You will see a steep drop in the line in our reference image. This will only help the lyrics to sound even more like a bubble or a balloon, so we’re not looking for perfectly straight lines. When you have drawn this last vertical line, there will be a gap at the base of the letter. We will complete this space very soon when we complete the diagram in the next step of the guide! When you are satisfied with your appearance, we will complete this program.

Step 4:

We will draw this base in this step and involve another long, curved shape. This base will start and end where space was left in the anterior. The line accomplishes have to be completely straightforward, but it should be flat, as this is the base of the letter.
With this comprehensive line, you will see that this bubble letter’s outline is complete! However, we stand even performing on it.
In the next step, you’ll add some fun extra details to complete the bubble effect and then add colors in the final step.
So, now that you know what to expect, we move on to step 5!

Step 5:

It still looks flat, so we’ll add a few lines in the outline to make it look full of air. We only added some of these lines but could add a few more.
Now you’re ready to add some color! However, what you achieved ought to move onwards.
There exist so numerous methods to customize the drawing further. A fun idea would be to draw a string from the L to look like a globe.
Or, you can draw funny patterns or shapes in the letter to make it more visually attractive. These are just a few ideas, but there is no wrong way to complete this drawing!
You can also make different versions if you need more than one idea.

Step 6:

You will see how the letter color is darker in some areas than others. We’ve obtained the more delicate colorings nearer to the dreamy oval we sketched before.
This helps the lyrics to be less flat on the page and is a perfect effect. You can do this technique regardless of color, so don’t hesitate.
